Configuring Harvest Webstation: Enabling Label Printing |

To use Harvest Webstation, you must establish security settings and you may modify program preferences, modify advanced configuration options, enable label printing, or customize the footer. Enabling Label PrintingBefore Harvest Webstation users can print labels, Harvest must be configured to allow Harvest Webstation users to print labels and to determine what label printer to use, how many labels to print, what information to print on the labels, etc. This is done in Harvest by modifying the Preferences for Harvest Webstation users. See the Harvest online help for additional information. Once Harvest Webstation has been set up in Harvest to print labels, you must download and install label printing on the workstation that runs Harvest Webstation. If you do not do so, you will not be able to print labels. You must complete the following steps to install label printing for Harvest Webstation. You may want to print these instructions to use as a reference before continuing. If you receive a page filled with text instead of a download confirmation window (see step 2), then click the link in the online version of this topic to download a "zipped" version of the LabelPrinting application to your machine. You will then need an unzipping application (e.g., PKZIP or WinZip) to open the LabelPrinting.zip file that you downloaded. After you have opened the LabelPrinting.zip file and saved (or "extracted") LabelPrinting.exe to your machine, continue to install the program as described below (beginning with step 3).
