Result Details: Result Graph
Help Table of Contents

This page appears when you click a test name on the Order Details page.

The History tab is displayed by default, but you may click the Result Graph tab to access the available graph information for the selected test.

Viewing the Result Graph

  1. The Result Graph tab shows all of the results for the selected test in graph form. By default, Harvest Webstation lists results in descending order by draw date and draw time. Beneath the graph and the graph options, Harvest Webstation lists all of the data points contained in the graph. The list contains only tests with results. Note that you must have the necessary system security group settings to view suppressed results. See the Harvest online or printed help for more information.
  2. If desired, you may modify several settings to adjust the format and contents of the report. See "Result Graph Options" below.
  3. Click the Back button to return to the Order Details page.
  4. Click the Print button to print the test result history.

Result Graph Options

Note that Harvest Webstation retains your settings for these options throughout your session until you sign out, though you may modify them at any time.

  1. The Show Reference Range checkbox determines whether the reference range for the test is displayed along with the patient’s test data. This option is selected by default. Clear the checkbox to remove the reference range data from the display.
  2. The Show Squares checkbox determines if the result data points are displayed as squares. This option is selected by default. Clear the checkbox to remove the data point indicators from the display.
  3. Note: Patient test results with no previous history cannot be graphed as lines, so they will be graphed as single data points instead. In this case, even if the "Squares" option of graph display is not selected, the test results and reference range values will be graphed as squares.

  4. Select the Show Vertical Lines or Show Horizontal Lines checkboxes if you wish to add vertical or horizontal grid lines to the graph display.
  5. Select the Reverse Data Points checkbox to reverse the date order for the result graph.
  6. To change the color of the result line and data points on the graph, select a color from the Result Line Color drop-down list.
  7. To change the color of the reference range line and data points on the graph, select a color from the Reference Range Color drop-down list.
  8. Select the Limit Display to __ Most Recent Data Points checkbox and enter a value to limit the number of data points displayed for each test on a graph. When you select this checkbox, Harvest Webstation automatically enters 10 as the number of data points. Modify this number, if desired.
  9. Select the Normalize All Tests in Order Choice checkbox to create a graph that normalizes all tests that contain results and that have both reference ranges defined.
