Receiving Errors When Entering Dates and Times
Each time you modify a time or date field, Harvest Webstation
checks the data to help ensure that you have entered a valid date or time.
If your entry falls outside of the acceptable ranges, then you will be
alerted and your entry will be reset or truncated.
- Month, day, hour and minute values must be 2 characters or less, year
values must be 4 characters or less. If not, the values are truncated
and you are notified.
For example: "Too many characters entered. Old value (122) is
being truncated to 12.
- Month, day, year, hour, and minute values must pass boundary
checks.
Date fields only accept numeric values, and the accepted values for the day field are month and year specific. Months must be between 1-12, Day: 1-31, Year: 1880-2100, Hour:
1-12, Minute: 0-59. If not, the value is reset to a valid value and
you are notified.
For example: "Value cannot be less than 1. Old value (0) is being
reset to 1." and "Value cannot be greater than 31. Old value
(32) is being reset to 31."
