This page appears if you try to find
patient via the Order Samples:
Patient & Order Choices page.
- The patient records displayed in this page are listed with the Patient
Name, Patient ID, Social Security Number (SSN), Date
of Birth, Sex, and Provider. Note that if you do not have the security settings to edit the SSN field, it appears blank.
- By default, this list is sorted by Patient Name. To sort the
list by a different value, click another column header. Once you select
a different sort column, Harvest Webstation will continue to sort on
that column each time the page is displayed until another column is
selected or you exit Harvest Webstation. Harvest Webstation displays a small up arrow or down arrow next to the column you are sorting by, indicating whether the sort is ascending (up) or descending (down). Click on the currently sorted column to sort the column in the opposite direction.
- Harvest Webstation lists up to 30 pages of search results.
Note that even if you belong to a Web Personnel Group or Web Location
Group that limits your access to the patient results belonging to certain
personnel or locations, this page still displays all of the patients
that match your search criteria.
- Click a page number (located at the top of the page) to navigate
through the results. These page links will only be present if there
is more than one page of results.
- Once you have found the patient on the list, click the entry in the
Patient Name column to return to the Order Samples: Patient & Order Choices page to place the order for that patient. See Order Samples: Patient & Order Choices.
- If the patient for whom you are searching does not appear on the list,
you can search again or add a new patient to the database.
