This page appears if you click the Browse button to search for a patient from the Order Samples: Patient & Order Choices page.

The Order Samples: Find Patient page allows you to search for an existing patient record using either a name or patient ID as search criteria.

1. Enter a patient name or patient ID in the Search String field.
2. Click Search to look for the patient.
   • Harvest Webstation displays the results of your search in the Order Samples: Patient List page.
   • If no match is found, the Edit Patient page appears, allowing you to add the patient to the database.
3. Click Cancel to return to the Order Samples: Patient & Order Choices page.
4. Click the Add Patient button if you would like to add a new patient to the database using the Edit Patient page. Note that you must have the necessary security settings in order to create a new patient record. If you do not, Harvest Webstation will alert you that no matching record was found, but you will not be allowed to create a new patient record.
