When you are entering diagnosis codes (also called ICD codes) while
placing an order, you may click the ... button to access this page. For more help, see Order
Samples: Patient & Order Choices.
The Order Samples: Find Diagnosis page allows you to search for a diagnosis
code using keywords or numbers.
- Enter the keyword or ICD code into the Search String field,
and click the Search button.
Note that when you are manually adding codes, Harvest Webstation
will display any codes that have been assigned to this patient on prior
orders as Prior Codes, listed from most recent diagnosis to oldest. If Harvest Webstation is performing a search
based on a diagnosis code entered in the Order Sample or Edit Order
pages, then the patient's prior codes are not listed.
- If a single match is found, it is automatically placed in the first
available Diagnosis Codes field on the Order
Samples: Patient & Order Choices page, and you may continue
placing the order.
- If more than one match is found, the Order
Samples: Diagnosis List page appears, allowing you to choose the
appropriate code.
- Select a code to add it to the first available Diagnosis Codes
field on the Order Samples: Patient
& Order Choices page. You may then continue placing the order.
- If no matches are found, the Order
Samples: Diagnosis List page appears, indicating that no diagnosis
codes were found. If this happens, return to the Order
Samples: Patient & Order Choices page and enter the diagnosis
code that you wish to use, or you may use this page to search again.
